FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we hear most.
Which currencies can I charge in?
MonoChat creates the charge in the currency you set in the flow or app, including AED and three-decimal currencies; which ones you can accept depends on your Tap account.
Who sends the payment link?
The Send Payment Request node in your flows, or sector apps such as the hotel, garage and school assistants once a payment system is connected. You set the amount and currency and the link goes out in the chat.
What happens once the customer pays?
MonoChat records the payment and the New Payment Received event continues your flow: a confirmation goes out, the profile is updated or the team is told.
Can I refund from MonoChat?
Not yet. This connection creates and checks payments; make refunds in the provider’s own dashboard.
